The student category includes both undergraduate and graduate students as well as PhD candidates. Students in each category should present to the congress secretariat the relevant student pass.
The reduced price for members applies only if there are no pending financial obligations towards HELECOS. In case there are, these members can renew their subscription along with their registration. Note that participants at the previous HELECOS conference in Mytilene, who paid their membership fees there, are considered to be in good standing. They will be able to renew their membership in October 2016, during the congress. Good standing members are also those who became members or renewed their memberships from October 2014 onwards. Those who still have concerns about their membership status can contact the Society’s Secretary.
Those who would like to become members of HELECOS before registering at the congress, they are requested to follow the procedure described here. But they should not leave this for the last minute because it requires some time.
There is the option of registering during the congress days but no official payment document will be given.
