President of the Hellenic Ecological Society and of this Congress, former president of the Board of the protected area of Axios-Loudias-Aliakmonas Delta, of the national ‘Natura 2000’ Committee, and vice-president of WWF-Greece. Interactions mediated by secondary metabolites, aerobiology and conservation biology are the principal areas of her current research.
