Plants and people in the prehistoric landscape of northern Greece: from the dense forests of the Neolithic to the fields and pastures of the historic period

Associate Professor at the Department of History and Archaeology of AUTH. Responsible for archaeobotanic research during excavations in Greece and abroad. Her research idea to revive the prehistorical cuisine from the Aegean to Central Europe has recently (2015) achieved major recognition and funding in the frame of Consolidator Grants of the European Research Council for top researchers in Europe; she has been the only successful candidate from Greek universities.
